How to add subtitles to your video?
Step 1 – Login Or Sign Up For Free
If you already have an account then Login to Recast Studio. If you don’t have one then sign up for free.
Step 2 – Upload Or Select The Video
Once you login, go to templates on the left side of the dashboard. Select the option of meme videos. Then select the template in which you want to add subtitles. And click on the “Edit This Template” option.
Step 3 – Add And Edit The Subtitles
Once your template opens, you will see a timeline. First, replace the existing footage with your footage. If it is an audio, replace the existing audio track with your audio track. Adjust the start and end points of video on the timeline. After the template is set, click on ‘Add subtitles option’. Then click on ‘Auto Subtitle’.
Under the auto subtitle option you’ll need to choose the language.
Once you choose a preferable language, click on ‘Start’. Then start writing the subtitles based on the length of the video. You can also add text, emojis, stickers, or shapes in the video.
The subtitles on the screen will appear in the chosen language.
Step 4 – Arrange And Resize
Arrange the subtitle in the right position. And resize it according to your convenience. Further, if you want to style your caption, then go to style option. Click on the style that you want to use. You can also customize your caption style. You can align the caption, change the color or background.
Step 5 – Splitting The Subtitle (Optional)
You can split your text according to the length of your video. Go to the part where you want your subtitle to split. And click on the ‘Split’ option. This will divide your subtitle in two different parts.
Step 6 – Preview And Download
Once you have arranged the subtitles, preview your whole video once again. If everything’s the way you want, then click on Download. Select the suitable option. Within a few minutes your video will be ready.
